Recycling bags

Your black and blue containers will soon be replaced with black and blue recycling bags. Please continue to recycle your items as you normally would, so plastic bottles, pots, tubs, trays and metals should be placed in the black recycling bag and paper and card should be placed in the blue recycling bag.

What you can recycle and where

As well as using your bins, boxes and containers, you are also able to recycle many of your unwanted household items at the Stevenage Recycling Centre on Caxton Way.

Before recycling please think carefully if you could:

• Sell it on eBay, Facebook or similar sites. 
• Donate it to someone in need or a charity store.
• Pass it on to a friend or family member who could make use of it.
