Cleansing of garage blocks

Week commencing 29 June 2026 the blocks within The Oval including Grace Way and Lonsdale Road will be swept.

Ridgeway garage site improvements

We are pleased to showcase the recent improvements carried out at the Ridgeway garage site.

The work has helped improve the appearance of the site and has created a number of larger garages for new and existing customers. We would like to thank residents for their patience while these improvements were undertaken.

Garage repairs

We have a 5-year contract with TCL Ltd who will solely work on repairs for garages. Whilst the transition and mobilisation of the new contract is progressing well, there is an interim period where our service may not meet the high standards that customers and the council expect. We are currently working on a new system that provides a much-improved experience for licensees and would ensure that reports of repairs are responded to effectively. We anticipate this new system to be in place early in the New Year.

This new contract will help us:

• Give better value for money
• Fix problems the first time whenever possible
• Improve how repairs are carried out and how we work with customers
