Cleansing of garage blocks

Week commencing 17 November 2025 the blocks within the Symonds Green area will be swept.

Garage repairs

Stevenage Borough Council are pleased to share that Topcoat Construction Limited (TCL) will be taking care of all garage repairs for the next five years. Their new contract starts on 3 November 2025.

While we get everything ready, there will be a short changeover period. Any repair requests made during this time will be put on hold and passed to TCL once their work begins.

There may also be some small delays in completing any repairs while these changes take place, so thank you for your patience — we’re sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

This new contract will help us:

Give better value for money
Fix problems the first time whenever possible
Improve how repairs are carried out and how we work with customers
