Car Parks Season Pass

How it works

Car parks run by the council use automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras to control the barriers at the entry and exit of each car park.

A car parks season pass is not a physical ticket but a monthly subscription that allows customers to enter and exit freely without having to make a payment at the car park.

Types of car parks season passes

The table below lists the four types of season passes available to the public, how much they cost and details which car parks they grant access to.

Season passes can be suspended, but for no more than 6 months for £36.

Buying a car parks season pass

To buy or renew a car parks season pass, please download and complete the Direct Debit before completing the online application. You will not be able to progress with your application without uploading a completed Direct Debit mandate.

Direct debit payments are collected monthly.

Disabled persons' pass

Annual passes are available for disabled people who are resident in Stevenage, and have a 'blue badge' issued by the Social Services Department of Hertfordshire County Council.

Unlike other pass types, these are issued, and renewed annually on 1 April each year. You will need to upload a copy of both sides of your blue badge, and a copy of a utility bill each year when your renewal is due.

You do not need to complete a Direct Debit we will contact you using the details supplied in your application.

What you need to provide

When applying, you will need to give:

• your name
• your address
• your vehicle registration number.

Suspension and termination

If you wish to suspend or terminate your car parks season pass, please contact the Reconciliation Team using the contact details below.

Car parks season passes can be suspended for up to 6 months for an admin fee of £36. Refunds are only available for any full months that have been paid but unused.
