Where to charge electric vehicles (EV) in Stevenage
It is not always so easy to find safe, reliable charging stations for your EV when you’re on the go, but in Stevenage we have rolled out a large network of bays.
There are charge points in our town centre car parks and neighbourhood centre car parks.
Railway North
Charge your car while you shop or commute! With 30 EV charging bays, Railway North nearly always has stations available for charging and you can leave your car while you browse the shops or visit somewhere by rail.
St. Nicholas Pavilion
As the weather cheers up and we move to open spaces for leisure, why not visit one of our parks and play areas? Set on St. Nicholas Park, the pavilion boasts six EV charging bays so you can top up on Vitamin D and exercise while charging your electric car.
Neighbourhood shops
We have several EV charging bays at:
- Oaks Cross Shops
- Filey Close Shops
- Archer Road Shops
- The Hyde Shops
- Bedwell Shops
- The Glebe Shops rear car park
Get your errands run, support local businesses and protect the environment in one go!
EV charging bays are not classed as car parking bays, please do not use these to park your car without charging as you may be issued a PCN. Charges start at 50p/kWh and are managed by the Blink App.
