Housing Annual Report

The Housing Annual Report, details our performance and achievements from April 2024 to March 2025. This report provides updates on our progress, tenant feedback, and the steps we’re taking to improve services.

This year, we saw our Tenant Satisfaction Measure for overall satisfaction increase to 66.9%. This improvement reflects our growing understanding of tenants’ needs and how the changes we’re making to our services and processes are positively influencing tenant experience. Thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts and helped us to make our service better. We’re looking forward to working closely with all residents to provide safe, good-quality homes and to build neighbourhoods where every member feels a sense of belonging. Thank you to everyone who has enabled us to continue ensuring we offer homes that are safe, with 100% of the required safety checks completed for gas, fire, asbestos, water and lifts where necessary.

We have also continued to invest funding into our council housing to provide homes that are maintained to a good standard while upgrading properties in need, focusing on energy efficiency and safety. Our commitment to building new council housing continues, with a wide variety of family homes and independent living schemes for older residents under construction as well as the recent breaking ground at The Oval.

We build all our new developments to our 5 Star quality approach, ensuring our housing meets specific criteria, while providing our tenants with a safe haven to call home.

Supporting residents remains a key priority, whether through financial guidance, helping people to live independently, or specialist services for vulnerable individuals. These efforts, alongside other initiatives, help us build a community where everyone feels valued and supported.
