• Every street is litter-picked every two weeks.
• Roads are swept regularly, if parked cars don’t get in the way.
• The Town Centre and Old Town High Street are cleaned regularly during the day.
• Local shopping areas are visited daily.

If you see a street that needs cleaning, you can report it online.

Cleaning plan

• Our street sweepers follow a regular route around town, starting in St Nicholas and ending in Martins Wood.
• We also clean big roads (like dual carriageways) more often.
• If something unexpected happens — like a big mess — we’ll send a team to clean it up.

Extra cleaning services

We offer street sweeping services to local businesses and builders. These can be one-time or regular clean-ups for places like;

• car parks,
• building sites, and
• roads near shops or offices.

Our service is offered at competitive and reasonable rates.
