Free meals for school children during half term

The council will be giving out free meals to children during the October half term (26 - 30 October)

Find out more

The museum is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for pre-booked tours. You can book by emailing museum@stevenage.gov.uk or calling 01438 218881. If you are passing and just drop in, we may be able to fit you in too, but we can’t promise!

Sanitisers and screens have been added, and a touch payment system has been introduced. There are floor stickers to help everyone keep a safe distance apart, and the galleries have been deep cleaned and the air handling system has been overhauled and improved to keep fresh air flowing through the galleries. The shop stock has been reviewed to minimise handling, and staff will be wearing masks or visors.
