Local Heritage Asset Register for the Borough of Stevenage

We have published a Local Heritage Register for the Borough of Stevenage.

The document lists the buildings in the Borough that residents have nominated or have been identified as being of historic importance. The buildings listed are not considered significantly historic enough to be included on the Listed Buildings register kept by English Heritage, although a copy of those buildings are included in an Appendix to the Local Heritage Register.

The document is a live working document and we will continue to accept nominations for buildings. You can nominate a building in Stevenage using the form below and submitting it, or printing out a copy of the form and posting it to the Planning Policy Team at the Council Offices.

If you know of a building which you believe deserves to be included in the Stevenage Local Listing, we’d like to hear from you.  We are looking for buildings which satisfy one or more of the following merits:
