Well done to Stevenage FC

As a longstanding fan of Stevenage FC, it was a disappointing end, losing to Stockport County at Edgeley Park.

This has been a really outstanding season – one of the best in the club’s history and missing out on a place in the Championship League promotion is hard for us fans. We take some comfort, in the knowledge that, with Phil Wallace’s backing, Alex Revell has built a strong, decisive team worthy of dominating League One next season.

We all look forward to another sensational campaign – culminating in an automatic promotion spot.

Stockport County are a great team and a defeat to them is no disgrace and we wish them every success.

Our Stevenage FC players and coaching/backroom staff did us proud at last week’s game and all through this season. They are all heroes for our town.

Looking forward to next season.
