Herts Summer Parks 2025

It's back - The Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership, in collaboration with Hertfordshire County Council, is excited to bring back Herts Summer Parks for 2025

A dynamic, festival style programme of free park activities for young people aged 12–16 across Hertfordshire this August.

Free food included

Anyone who attends will receive a free takeaway voucher to enjoy a hot meal from a local food vendor. Food vendors will be confirmed at each location and are subject to change

HAPpy Camps

The summer holidays are about to get extra exciting with HAPpy Camps! 

HAPpy Camps offer free sessions for all Hertfordshire children who get benefits-related free school meals. There’s fun, physical activity and a hot lunch on offer.

The programme, funded by Hertfordshire County Council and the Department for Education (DfE) via the government’s Holiday Activity and Food programme, is coordinated by Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership and the Hertfordshire Community Foundation.

How to join

If your child is eligible and you have not received your code, contact your school office. These camps are for children aged 4-16 (reception to year 11) who are registered to receive benefits-related free school meals. Your school will provide a booking code up to six weeks before the HAPpy camps open.

Stevenage FC Foundation - SG Youth Hub and football camps

SG Youth Hub

Looking for something to do during the 6 week Summer Holidays? SG Youth Hub is back.

Stevenage FC Foundation are pleased to announce that SG Youth Hub will be running throughout 2025 thanks to funding from Bedfordshire Luton Community Foundation!

SG Youth Hub is a social hub for 11-16-year-olds which features sport, physical activity, gaming, trips and other activities geared to those who are in their teens!

Kellogg's football camps and girls only camps

Stevenage FC Foundation Soccer Camps are for boys and girls aged 5-12 years old of all abilities.

Soccer Camps provide children with the opportunity to learn the games key skills through fun games and activities. Each session is designed to be physically active, promoting fitness, healthy habits, improving footballing ability through gameplay and socialisation. There may also be some special guest visits.

How much does it cost?

Soccer camp: £25 a day - multi-day discount available. Save up to £15 by booking a full week.

Girls only soccer camp: £22.50 a day

Services for Young People

The activities are for young people aged 12-16, who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. The programmes will take place Monday to Thursday during the first 3 weeks of the Summer holidays, with each session lasting four hours a day.

There are 20 spaces available in each district, and the allocation of places is on a first come, first served basis.

Parents/ carers of young people who are eligible should have been sent or can request a unique HAPpy booking code from their child’s educational setting. This includes those who are elected home educated.
