Stevenage is set to sparkle as the town centre bursts into festive cheer with this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On, taking place from 12 noon – 5.30pm on Saturday 22 November 2025
The celebrations promise an afternoon of family fun, live entertainment, and festive magic - with none other than members of So Solid Crew: Lisa Maffia, Romeo & Harvey headlining the big switch-on!
Crowds can look forward to an exciting line-up of live performances, music, street entertainment and festive stalls, building up to the spectacular lights being switched on to officially launch the Christmas season in Stevenage. The ever-popular members of So Solid Crew will bring the energy and nostalgia with their chart-topping hits, ensuring a show-stopping start to the festive season.

The celebrations don’t stop there either - the Old Town’s traditional Christmas Lights Switch-On will follow on Sunday 29 November, bringing a more traditional touch of Christmas charm to the High Street.
