Stevenage fireworks to mark town’s 80th anniversary
Stevenage’s skies are set to sparkle as the town’s much-loved annual Firework Display returns to Fairlands Valley Park on Thursday 5 November 2026, bringing an evening of spectacular fireworks and community celebrations.
The free event forms part of Stevenage’s 80th anniversary celebrations, giving residents, families and friends another chance to come together and mark this special year for the town.
Gates open at 6.30pm, with the fireworks starting at 7.30pm. Visitors can arrive early, find a good viewing spot and enjoy a range of hot food and refreshments from vendors on site.
This year’s display is proudly sponsored by Morgan Sindall.

Councillor Myla Arceno, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Wellbeing, said: “Stevenage’s firework display is always a fantastic occasion, bringing people together to enjoy a brilliant night out in our town. As we celebrate 80 years of Stevenage, it’s wonderful to have this much-loved event as part of our anniversary celebrations.
“Whether you’re coming with family, meeting friends or simply looking forward to seeing thesky light up, we can’t wait to welcome you. Wrap up warm, wear your wellies and join us for an evening of fireworks and community spirit.”
