Stay on top of your Council Tax with email and SMS reminders.
To make managing your Council Tax easier, we've introduced email and SMS reminders for residents where we hold a phone number and/or email address.
If a payment is missed or your account falls behind, we’ll send a reminder before issuing any formal notices. This gives you time to review your account and take action quickly.
Text messages will come from ‘S B Council’ and will include a link to a page with a security question to confirm your identity before providing further instructions on your Council Tax account.

You may also receive an email with instructions on what to do. If you receive any of these messages, please be assured they are genuine communications from Stevenage Borough Council, and we encourage you to follow the instructions promptly.
This reminder service is designed to help prevent Council Tax arrears.
Please note: reminders may not always be sent by email or text, and you remain responsible for ensuring your Council Tax payments are made on time and your instalments are kept up to date.
