Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

We are deeply saddened by the tragic earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Our condolences lie with the families currently experiencing a sense of loss and grief for their loved ones who have lost their lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected; those who are still missing, the thousands of people who have been injured and those made homeless by this catastrophic incident.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the people involved in the major rescue operations for their continued efforts in helping people that have been traumatised and those in need.

The Disasters Emergency Committee which brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas, has launched an appeal.
