2026 in Stevenage: Let the fun begin!
It’s great to see the events calendar in Stevenage filling up for 2026 – it’s shaping up to be another bumper year, with our much-loved showstoppers already firmly in the diary.
Kid Zone kicks off a busy summer programme this Saturday (23 May) from noon until 4pm on Event Island – You can expect glitter, balloons, plenty of fun and a visit from an extra special VIP (Shhhhhh…Don’t tell anyone, but it’s Bluey).
From there, the momentum doesn’t slow down. There’s plenty on the horizon, with something for everyone – with family fun at Stevenage Day, the always moving Armed Forces Day celebrations and Get Active is back this year too!
Councillor Richard Henry, Leader of the Council said: “It’s fantastic to see such a packed event schedule for everyone in our community to enjoy.
“2026 is set to be even more special as we mark 80 years of Stevenage as a New Town, with commemorative moments woven throughout the year – giving us a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come and to celebrate the community spirit that makes our town what it is today.”
To all the organisers out there - grab your diaries, circle those dates in bright red and give us a follow on socials so you’re always one step ahead. Just in case you’re unsure where to find us:
