Kid Zone

Between 12 and 4pm Event Island will be packed with great, fun activities for kids of all ages (there may be charges for some activities and food and drink).

Lego Club

Fun challenges that build problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and creative thinking. Suitable for children aged 5-11 years old. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Stevenage Central Library, Southgate, Stevenage, SG1 1HD. Places are limited so please book at the library. Saturdays from 3pm – 4pm.

Sunday 24 May

Stevenage Junior Park Run

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors 4-14 year olds. The event takes place at Hampson Park, Webb Rise, Stevenage, SG1 5QU. Sundays from 9am, for further information and to register visit the Park Run website. You can also grab a post park run coffee in Hampson Park Coffee Shop in the Community Centre.

Stevenage Borough Football Club - Soccer Camps

If you have a football mad child you can sign them up for Soccer Camp at Stevenage Borough Football Academy Tuesday 26 to Friday 29 May.

The soccer camps combine fun games and activities with football's principal skills to provide the perfect half-term activity for boys & girls aged 5-12.

Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 May

Half term at Stevenage Museum. Two sessions each day; 10.30 to 11.30 am, and 1 to 2pm. You can join in nature themed arts and crafts, small branch weaving and create some clay impressions. Visit the Museum Event page for more information and to book your place.

Hampson Park - Art in the Park

Friends of Hampson Park welcome you to this year's special event; 11am to 2pm in the community centre. There's lots of fun for the kids with drawing, painting, shapes, and glitter on offer all for free!

Trotts Hill Primary School will be showing a range of artworks along with other artworks from other local artists that celebrate Stevenage on its 80th birthday as a new town.

Hampson Park also has a very popular skate park, basketball courts and a large play area as well as a café attached to the community centre.

Fairlands Valley

Splash Park

The Splash Park opens on Saturday 23 May. It will be open daily between 10am and 5pm (weather permitting), until the end of the school summer holidays.

Aqua Parc
