Stevenage’s Annual Fireworks Display will be taking place again this November at Fairland’s Valley Park
This Fireworks Display takes place on Friday 5 November 2021.
It is a free event and opens at 6:30pm. Enjoy the variety of hot food & refreshment vendors, to keep you warm on a cold winter's evening.
The fireworks display will start at 7:30pm. The display, funded and organised by Stevenage Borough Council, always draws the crowds, so please avoid driving if possible - although if you must drive, parking will be available at the South Field Car Park (Opposite Stevenage FC stadium).
Please note – Parking at Marriotts School is only available to those who need accessibility parking for the Fairland’s Fireworks Display. It is not a public car park. For more information please visit the Marriotts Sports Centre Facebook Page
Please don't bring your own fireworks or sparklers to the display for health and safety reasons and we also advise visitors to not buy from street traders or hawkers at the event as they have not been accredited by Stevenage Borough Council.
Please avoid crossing Six Hills Way which is a high speed road. There are pedestrian subways available for pedestrians to walk through and Security Stewards shall be on hand to direct you to the underpass.
Any vehicles parked on double yellow lines and grass verges risk being towed away.
This year's display has been supplied by Entertainment Effects, wrap up warm, and be prepared for a fireworks extravaganza!
For further updates regarding the event, including any wet weather announcements, please check the Stevenage Borough Council social media pages.
Stevenage Borough Council will be following government guidelines to keep the event safe. All attendees are encouraged to take a lateral flow test within the 48 hours before the event and to wear a face covering if using public transport and when walking through the underpass to Fairland’s Valley Park. All information on local testing can be found on Hertfordshire County Council's website.
Being vaccinated offers the best protection against becoming unwell with COVID-19. Please visit the NHS website for more information about booking your vaccine.
Please do not attend the event if:
- You have any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 10 days (a high temperature, new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste).
- You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days.
- You should only leave home to get a PCR test.
