Referrals to the Young People's Healthy Hub
Here are answers to some of the questions we get asked about our service.
I’m a parent of a young person and I feel like they could benefit from the services provided by the Young People’s Healthy Hub, what can I do?
If you are a parent or carer of a young person, you can make a referral through the professional referral form. We can then get in contact with the young person to talk through the support we are able to provide.
Do I have to meet a certain criterion for the support and programmes to be available?
We welcome any young person to come to us, no matter what their health and wellbeing concerns are, big or small. Other than being a young person aged 11-16 years old and living in Stevenage, there is no other criteria. Get in touch with us so we can discuss what support and advice is best suited to your needs.
I want some support, but I am too scared to get in contact with the hub.
If you decide to ring the hub phone number, you will be put in contact with one of our friendly and helpful team members. However, we appreciate picking up the phone can be scary. If that’s the case, you can email us instead, and we can discuss the best way to support and talk to you.
