This 18 acre park consists mainly of sports pitches with an area of informal open space with shrub planting.

Play area

The play area located to the North of the park, has a range of equipment suitable for suitable for juniors, It also has a small skate board park and multi use games area for teens and juniors.

The site has a pavilion, football pitches and a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA).

Managing play areas

Play areas are managed closely and inspected daily; litter bins are emptied and litter or broken glass is removed. Play equipment is inspected once a week to ensure safety for continued use.

Getting to the park

The park can be found in the Shephall area to the centre of Stevenage, between The Paddocks, Peartree Way and Six Hills Way.

By Car

The park can be accessed from The Ridings, off The Paddocks, with car parking facility at the main entrance.

On Foot

Pedestrians can access the park from points around the edge of the park through the surrounding residential areas of The Ridings, Six Hills Way, Upper Sean, Paddocks Close, Wiltshire Road and Peartree Way.

Cycle access

A shared use cycle track and footpath runs adjacent to the eastern boundary of the park.

Public Transport

Residential areas bordering the park benefit from a bus service providing excellent access to those who rely on public transport.
