What it takes to have an allotment

Taking on an allotment is hard work but also brings many rewards. As well as providing fresh home-grown vegetables (that are free from artificial additives), fruit and flowers, allotments allow you to meet new people and enjoy a healthy outdoor lifestyle.

You can find out more of what’s involved by reading our 'Are you prepared' handy leaflet.
