Allotments in Stevenage

There are 16 allotment sites throughout Stevenage, providing over 950 plots for residents of Stevenage.

Our sites offer a range of plot sizes from 50 m² to 250 m². In most cases, we offer new plot holders a smaller manageable plot to get started on.

Costs and Concessions

We charge for plots based on their size. The cost of renting a 65 m² plot in 2024 is £56.55 per year, which includes water. A £15 admin fee will also be applied when we are required to set up or vary agreements with the new and existing tenants.

A 25% discount is available for those in receipt of either of the following means-tested benefits

We work in close partnership with the Stevenage Gardens and Allotment Association (SGAA). Membership provides many benefits to joining the SGAA.

Handing back your allotment plot

If you wish to give up and hand back your allotment, please contact us. You will need to ensure that the plot is cleared and return your key to us.
