Burwell Court

The Burwell Court development was built on the site of the former March Hare.

The March Hare had stood derelict and empty and had become a source of anti-social behaviour before it came into the Council’s full control through the acquisition of the leasehold. 

A development proposal for 15 new apartments was designed and achieved planning approval. All of the properties have been let to Council tenants at a social rent. 

The homes are spacious with an open-plan kitchen living area, with each property benefitting from Juliette balconies.
