Road Spillages
We are responsible for keeping the highway clean and free from spillages.
Reporting
If you see a spillage on the highway; this could include oil, gravel, sand or dropped cargo, please report this to us as an emergency by telephoning 0800 136661, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours please telephone 01438 314963.
You can also report road spillages to us online.
Where spillages are of a hazardous nature, the local police and fire service may also be involved in the incident and road closures may be required.
