Final recommendations for Stevenage

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) have now published their final recommendations for new ward boundaries across Stevenage.

The final recommendations propose that Stevenage Borough Council should have 39 councillors, the same number as now.

Those councillors should represent 13 three-councillor wards across the council area.

The boundaries of every ward will change; none will stay the same.

The changes become law once Parliament has approved them. These new arrangements are scheduled to be in place for the local elections in May 2024.
