Final recommendations for Stevenage

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) made their final recommendations for new ward boundaries across Stevenage.

The final recommendations proposed that Stevenage Borough Council should have 39 councillors, the same number as now.

Those councillors will represent 13 three-councillor wards across the council area.

The boundaries of every ward will change; none will stay the same.

These recommendations have now been approved by Parliament and have become law.

You can view The Stevenage (Electoral Changes) Order 2023 on the legislation website. A map of the new Wards is available below.

The new arrangements will be in force for the local elections to be held on 2 May 2024.
