2025/26 Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief Scheme

From 1 April 2026, the temporary Retail, Hospitality and Leisure (RHL) relief scheme in England will end and be replaced by a permanent system of lower business rates multipliers for qualifying properties with a rateable value of under £500,000.

The 2025/26 Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Business Rates Relief scheme will provide eligible occupied retail, hospitality, and leisure properties with a 40% relief, up to a cash cap limit of £110,000 per business. Visit the Gov.uk website for further details about the scheme.

All businesses who wish to apply and meet the criteria must do so using the Retail, hospitality and Leisure relief form available under the 'Applying for relief' section below.

You must provide all the information requested otherwise your application will not be processed.
