Co-operative Procurement Strategy 2021-2024

The new strategy was adopted at the Executive in October 2021 and came into effect from November 2021.

The focus of the strategy is around five principle foundations including Community Wealth Building, Sustainability, Social Value and Ethical Procurement, Commercial and Insourcing and Pro-active Procurement. Each foundation is a building block of the considerations that need to underpin the procurement process and will be embedded in the way the Council procures goods, works and services.
