Thank you for joining us at Stevenage Day 2026

Stevenage Day 2026 Aerial View

More than 30,000 people joined us at King George V Playing Fields on Sunday 14 June for Stevenage Day 2026, making it one of the largest community events in Hertfordshire.

This year’s event marked the start of our Stevenage 80 celebrations, commemorating 80 years since Stevenage was designated the UK’s first New Town.

Visitors enjoyed live entertainment across the Main Arena, Rock in the Park and the Pride and Community Stage, alongside free STEM-themed activities, fairground rides and hundreds of community, voluntary and commercial stalls.

Most importantly, Stevenage Day once again brought people together to celebrate the organisations, businesses, performers and residents who make our town such a special place to live, work and visit.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, performed, exhibited, volunteered or helped deliver the event. We are also grateful to our sponsors, partners, suppliers, contractors and council colleagues whose support made the day possible.

Stevenage Day may only last a day, but its impact reaches much further. It builds connections, creates memories and strengthens pride in our town.

Details of Stevenage Day 2027 will be published here when the event launches in the new year.
