The Government has published guidance on organising a street party, setting out helpful tips, advice and support to create an event.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has launched the Government’s new Platinum Jubilee website, including an interactive map which will display all the events and activities that will be taking place right across the UK.

You can add your event to a map of events showing the location of events celebrating the Queen's Jubilee. This is open for anyone to use and everyone is encouraged to upload any events and activities they may be planning to mark the Jubilee.

GOV.UK's, Your guide to organising a street party also gives information on the differences between street parties and other public events.

You can apply to Close a road for a street party or special event, on the Hertfordshire County Council website - get your application in to hold  a street party by 21 April.

If you are planning a street party, the Eden Project Communities and The Street Party Site provide more information.

You can find events that we will be running on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee page.
