Stevenage Borough Council has collaborated with local authorities across Hertfordshire to host a free climate change conference entitled “Grow through Sustainability” to help businesses understand how to lower their carbon emissions, to help cut costs and get our town to net zero by 2030.

The event on 11 February in Hatfield will give advice on steps businesses can take now to improve efficiencies and support to go greener. Attendees will also be given information about funding streams available to help create low carbon workplaces and support for sustainable plans.

The event is also supported by a number of guest speakers who will share information on business support and networks available to achieve goals and aspirations. The event also features a number of businesses who will share their experiences on the challenges their business faced, how they overcame them and how they accessed funding to support their sustainability plans.

Stevenage’s ElectrAssure will also be supporting the event and will highlight the opportunities for businesses in the sustainability sector.

Venue: The Fielder Centre, Hatfield Business Park, Hatfield Ave, AL10 9TP

Date: 11 February 2022 from 8.30am
