Mind in Mid Herts

Having worked in Stevenage for over 10 years, Mind in Mid Herts (MiMH’s), comes with a wealth of experience supporting young people in their recovery from mental health problems.

There is a Wellbeing Centre in the heart of Stevenage town centre, with great public transport links.

What do Mind in Mid Herts do?

Mind in Mid Herts offer a range of services to ensure prevention as well as recovery from mental health problems:

  • Counselling.
  • Courses on Staying calm, Coping with loss, Developing self-compassion, Building courage, Feeling well, Learning to relax, Sleeping well, Being assertive, Becoming active and Eating well.
  • Social support groups for carers and the LGBTQ community, quizzes, wellbeing and book groups are run weekly for people to join online.
  • Football one evening a week supported by a trained coach from the Stevenage Football Foundation.

NYSA are Kerry Lanigan and Hannah Blunden, local artists from Watford who deliver art workshops.

Workshops can be designed and tailored to suit the individual that wants to attend.
