The Community Kitchen will run on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm starting on January 19 2021.

Wise About Foods Healthy Eating Programme

Come and join Sarah for an hour of cooking where she can show you how to make some tasty nutritious meals that are quick, easy and based on a budget.

Sarah will talk to you about having a cupboard of food staples and how these can be used to make quick meals as well as how to save money by saving food.

Hear from our Young People

Hear first-hand from some of our young people that have attended programmes through the Hub:

“I have really enjoyed my 5 week cooking course with Sarah. The sessions have been informative and fabulous. I have made lots of delicious dishes such as Spaghetti and Meatballs, Pizza, Katsu Curry, a Chinese meal and Queen of puddings. My favourite was definitely pizza! Sarah has shown us many ways to incorporate vegetables into our dishes and with really good techniques. I would definitely recommend this course to young adults or anyone who has got a passion for cooking” - Jessica attended the Wise About Foods course.

“Really enjoyed the course. Fun. Cooked new things. Helped me become more independent in the kitchen” - Wise About Food course attendee.
