The Met Office has issued a weather warning for tonight going through to Thursday that there could be gusting wind and heavy rain which may lead to disruption and flooding in some places.

Local opportunities like sports leaders, mental health champions training, coaching qualifications and life skills can help with your health and well-being.

NHS Cadets

From September 2020, 14-16 year olds across Hertfordshire will be able to take part in a valuable volunteer programme.

The NHS Cadets programme is run by YC Hertfordshire on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement.

What will the volunteers be doing?

During the next three months, volunteers will learn about:

  • Health - public, personal, community health, mental wellbeing, mental illness, CBT and other wellbeing tools.
  • Food - how to cook, shop on a budget, store, grow food.
  • Money - personal banking, credit, budgeting, saving.
  • Goals - how to plan to achieve your goals.

To reserve a place, call Debi Roberts on 01442 454226 or email, debi.roberts@hertfordshire.gov.uk.
