What is the Green Deal?

The Green Deal can help you make energy saving improvements to your home and find the best way to pay for them.

Areas of home improvement covered by the Green Deal are:

• insulation, such as solid wall, cavity wall or loft insulation;
• heating;
• draught-proofing;
• double glazing; and
• renewable energy generation, such as solar panels or heat pumps.

Do I need your permission?

You should contact us for permission, giving details of the work you would like to carry out. Depending on your lease conditions, you may not be able to take some of the measures offered under the Green Deal scheme; in particular any that may alter the external fabric of the building.
