Local Services

If you are a resident of Stevenage and facing Domestic Abuse, our Community Safety Team can give you practical help and support.

If you are a woman or a man affected by domestic abuse, you can contact Safer Places on their e-line number 0330 102 5811.

Herts Area Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Centre can be contacted on their helpline on 01707 276512

National Domestic Violence Helpline can be contacted on 0808 200 0247.

If you are facing other threats or abuse, such as racial or homophobic harassment,
call 999 in an emergency or 112 in a non-emergency.

The Stop LGBT Hate Crime Helpline, 0808 801 0661, is a 24/7 telephone helpline covering England, Wales and Scotland.

Galop are an anti-violence LGBT charity that can provide advice and support.
