Voting by proxy - the deadline for receiving new proxy vote applications is 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023 (to be effective for this election).
Voting by emergency proxy - the deadline for receiving new proxy vote applications on the grounds of work, medical emergency, or Covid-19 based reasons, is 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023 (to be effective for this election).

Completed applications can be scanned and emailed to electoral@stevenage.gov.uk or posted to Electoral Services Office, Stevenage Borough Council, Daneshill House, Danestrete, Stevenage SG1 1HN.
Voter ID
The UK government has introduced a requirement for voters to show photo ID when voting at a polling station at elections. This new requirement will apply for the first time in England at the local elections on Thursday 4 May 2023.
