Vehicle Clamping

Stevenage Borough Council do not clamp vehicles.

Private clamping firms operate on private areas in the town under an agreement with land owners and are outside our control, (areas such as concrete hardstandings at the rear of the town centre shops and Stevenage Leisure Park).

We strongly advise drivers to park legally and if in doubt use the public car parks available.

If you have any complaints about a clamping firm you should write to the Security Industry Authority (SIA), at the address below, who are responsbile for the licensing of clamping firms.
