Council managed Car Parks
The locations of, and tariffs for, the car parks managed by the Council.
The Council manage 13 car parks in Stevenage town centre. All car parks are pay on foot. Take the chip coin you are issued with at the entry barrier with you when you go into town. Before you return to your car, feed it into one of the car park pay stations and it will tell you how much you owe. The machines accept coins, notes or a card, change will be given. Your chip coin will then be returned to you, containing electronic details of your payment, to be inserted into the exit barrier.
All car parks are open for 24 hours.

Refunds
If you experience difficulties with the pay machines you should use the intercom system to contact the car park control centre. Refunds may be authorised by the control centre and in this case the customer would need to go to our Customer Service Centre where a refund will be made available. The customer service centre is open Monday to Friday only.
If you wish to surrender your car park season ticket, a refund is available for the unexpired part (full month only). Any enquiries should be sent to the Revenues Section at Daneshill House.
