Cycling in Stevenage
There are approximately 45 Km of cycletracks in Stevenage. It is the Council's responsibility to keep the cycleways free from litter and glass and will respond to any reports within 24 hours. The cycleways are mechanically swept every 8 weeks, litter picked once a week and a glass patrol is carried out Monday to Friday. All maintenance issues for cycle ways now lie with Herts County Council, for example, the condition of the track surfaces.
