Somewhere you think deserves recognition because it put Stevenage on the map. A place with lots of history.
Or perhaps somewhere you just really enjoy spending time. It doesn’t have to be famous. It might be quite ordinary but you think it should be celebrated.

Judging
A judging panel, which includes members of the public, will choose a shortlist of 10 places.
The public will then vote for the place they think most worthy during October 2008 and the five places with the most votes will receive blue plaques between November 2008 and March 2009.
We will publish details about the public vote on this website, in Chronicle magazine and in the Comet newspaper who support the Blue Plaque Scheme.
