Telephone Fraud
Another crime increasing in popularity is the telephone fraud.
If you receive a call saying you have won a prize, chances are you haven’t and it is a trick to get you to part with personal information or, in some cases, money.
Remember the old adage: “If it seems too good to be true, it probably is”.
If you get a call like this, never give out personal information and simply hang up.
