60th Anniversary Finale Concert

A special event is in store as the curtain comes down on celebrations marking Stevenage’s 60 years as a New Town.
Months of festivities will culminate in the 60th anniversary Finale Concert on Sunday, 26 November at the Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre Concert Hall.
The free event starts at 4.00pm with a lantern procession featuring young people from four Stevenage schools, Round Diamond, Fairlands Primary, The Leys and St Nicholas.
Stevenage Mayor, Councillor Simon Speller will then officially open the concert.
The concert will feature performances from the Stevenage Ladies Choir, the Stevenage Male Voice Choir, the Stevenage Wind Band, Churches Together in Stevenage, solo singer Elaine Simpson, afro-jazz group Blessings and dance/performing groups Fusion and Footworks.
