This year is the 90th anniversary of the end of World War 1 so we are commenorating Armistice Day in an extra special way.

We have been working with the Royal British Legion and Betfair to create a floral display on the grass bank outside the icon building. When people pass the poppy display we hope it will make them think about our armed forces.

Please spare some time to think about the millions of people who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces. The Remembrance Parade will take place on Sunday 9 November from the Old Town. This will be followed by a two-minute silence on Tuesday 11 November in the Town Centre

Everyone is welcome to take part in these commemorations.
