Children and Young People
The Children and young people’s block is lead by Hertfordshire County Council. It aims to improve the lives and opportunities of the younger residents of Hertfordshire.
The Children and young people’s block brings together organisations to work in partnership to improve the lives of children and young people in Hertfordshire.
The block has 6 outcomes and 20 Targets, 4 or which are Stretch. The targets are around preventable health problems, Educate and protect against drug and alcohol misuse, safe guard from abuse and neglect and support their development at all ages.
This block’s progress is managed through the Children Tust Patnership and links closely in with the Every Child Matters agenda.
