Community Safety Partnership
The Council is committed to making Stevenage a safer place and plays a leading role in the Stevenage Community Safety Partnership.
Anti-social behaviour
The Council delivers a range of services and projects to reduce anti-social behaviour in the borough. Anti-social behaviour ranges from acts of violence and harassment, to more ‘everyday’ incidents like noisy dogs or overgrown gardens.

Crime prevention planning
The Council recognises that there is a link between the design of towns and crime. Careful attention to the planning of the town and to the design of its estates, individual buildings and amenities can help reduce crime.

The Council is committed to working in partnership with statutory and community organisations to reduce crime and the harm it causes to individuals, families and the community as a whole.

The Council works with other agencies and organisations to providing advice and support to those who feel that they are being harassed at home, in the workplace, in public, at school.
