Symonds Green Community Centre is unique in that it offers a diverse range of activities from three separate buildings in the neighbourhood:
- The Community Centre, which is the main venue; while the two smaller facilities are the Annexe and Neighbourhood Centre.
- Symonds Green Community Association, which manages all three buildings, plans to extend and refurbish the Community Centre in Filey Close.
- There is also a volunteer-run coffee bar at the Neighbourhood Centre.

| Location | Symonds Green Community Centre is at Filey Close, located behind the neighbourhood shops (Co-op supermarket). The Neighbourhood Centre is at the side of the shops. Both the Centre and the Annexe are on Scarborough Avenue. |

| Description | The Centre offers four rooms. The Community Centre is brick, with linoleum floor in the large main hall. The Neighbourhood Centre has a tiled floor, while the Annexe has linoleum. Computer suite. Enclosed outdoor play area for young children. |

- Stevenage Borough Council uses the Annexe during some school holidays and during Easter for play scheme activities for children aged from five years.
