Community grants
The Council offers advice and support for local groups wishing to apply for funding from European, Government, Lottery and charitable trusts.
We have recently linked up with GRANTnet which is a search facility that is free and user-friendly and has been devised to assist organisations in identifying the funding sources available for specific projects.
All users need to do is answer a few simple questions about their organisation and the project which they wish to undertake; GRANTnet will then provide an overview of all the schemes available.
If you need more detailed information, contact the Council's Grants and Funding Advice unit, on the telephone number below or by email. We will provide an in-depth search for you, with detailed information on the appropriate schemes. In many cases this will include the grant application forms.
Click the link below to start using this free service for single enquiries.
GRANTnet is an additional service provided by the market leading grants database, Grantfinder, which was established in 1985, and has become the industry standard. It is recognised as the most comprehensive and up to date database of grants, loans and other incentives operating in the UK.
It currently holds details on over 4,000 initiatives administered by a variety of funding providers, including the European Commission, UK Government Departments, local government, major charitable trusts and corporate sponsors.
