Local Plan - Adoption Process

The stages to the adoption process are set out below together with the dates one which they took place for the current Stevenage Local Plan.

1. Deposit Draft (published for consultation November 1999)
2. Second Deposit Draft (published for consultation May 2001)
3. Pre-inqury Changes (published for consultation March 2002)
4. Public Local Enquiry (held between September and December 2002)
5. Inspectors Report (received by the Council 24th July 2003 and published in August 2003)
6. Proposed Modifications (published for consultation March 2004)
7. Adoption (adopted 8th December 2004)
