Have your say in planning the future of Stevenage.
The Council is consulting on its:
Planning is an important way of deciding where new development should go, how much we should build and what should be protected.
If you live, work, do business, shop or simply enjoy leisure time in the Old Town or Gunnels Wood areas, we would like to know what you think.
Action Plans should be created for areas where significant change or conservation is needed.

The Old Town Area Action Plan will establish a balance in the Old Town between development, regeneration, change and conservation in the period to 2021. | The Gunnels Wood Area Action Plan will set out land use, design and transport policies to provide a framework for the future development and regeneration of Stevenage’s main employment area. |
Copies of the consultation documents are available from:
- Stevenage Borough Council offices at Daneshill House from Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- Stevenage central library and Stevenage Old Town library during normal opening hours

They are available from Thursday 7th February 2008 for six weeks. Comments should be sent to the Planning Policy team by 5pm on Thursday 20th March 2008. Comments can be sent, faxed, emailed or delivered to:

Any representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified that the Development Plan Documents have been submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination and of the adoption of the Development Plan documents.
