For all types of building without any restriction.

Offices, shops or railway premises, Hotels or boarding houses on industrial buildings.

Building Notice

When can a Building Notice be given?
For all types of building work except to buildings that are designated under the Fire Precautions Act 1971 (As Amended.

What is required with the submission?

Unlike Full Plans other than a site plan, drawings are not normally required. We can request additional information in order to show compliance with the Building Regulations. If this becomes necessary we will write to either you or your agent.

What will The Council do with my Building Notice?
If acceptable, it will be acknowledged within 10 days of receipt.

What can happen if I do not submit an application?

If you proceed with the work without applying you are contravening the Building Regulations.
