Acts confirmed for Stevenage Day

18 May 2015

With less than a month to go until Stevenage Day 2015, the line-up is taking shape and it promises to be another fun filled day out for the whole family. There are dancers and drummers in the main arena, live music across two stages and stalls throughout the site so the crowds are in for a treat this year.

Those looking for live music can head over to the main stage to see headliners such as Guns of Anarchy, Space Goat, The Defekters, Roxy Searle and Mark Sullivan Music. Local acts Andy Soper, Mike Mirfield, Daisy Lewis and Sarah Ashley are just some of the singers performing on the acoustic stage throughout the day.

Main arena acts will include Camps Hill Juniors and All Stars Cheerleaders, African Fire Dancers, Brazilian Drummers and the Filipino Barrio Fiesta dancers.

Councillor Howard Burrell, Executive member for Culture, Sport and Leisure, said, “Stevenage Day is always a great day out for the whole family and this year is no exception. The number of acts has grown over the years and we’re lucky enough to have a main arena, main stage and an acoustic stage to showcase local talent and entertain the crowds throughout the day.”

Stevenage Day is taking place on Sunday 14 June at King George V Playing Fields from 11.30am onwards. For more information on all activities, visit our website
