The Housing Enforcers returns to Stevenage

21 Jan 2016

BBC One daytime show, The Housing Enforcers, featuring Matt Allwright, has been back in Stevenage working alongside the council’s housing officers. The new series starts on BBC One next Monday 25 January.

The producers, Twofour, worked with Stevenage Borough Council staff and their tenants for this third series of The Housing Enforcers. The programmes will show Matt Allwright working shoulder to shoulder with colleagues old and new. His task will take him around Britain searching out bad landlords, tackling problem properties, dealing with the consequences of nightmare neighbours and coming to the rescue of tenants in need.

Throughout the series viewers can follow the Housing Enforcers as they conduct late night raids to derelict homes, tackle vermin infestations and shut down beds-in-sheds.

Cllr Ann Webb, Stevenage Borough Council’s Executive Member for Housing, said, “Working with Matt Allwright and TwoFour on this programme has given us a unique opportunity to show the range of work that our housing staff do for Stevenage residents every day. If you get a chance to watch it, I’m sure you’ll find it interesting and surprising.”

Tune into the series from Monday 25 January at 9.15am on BBC One.
